What is PU?

Polyurethane foam (PU) is a spongy, cellular polymer which contains the urethane radical and is produced by a chemical reaction involving a polyester.

PU offers the elasticity of rubber combined with good toughness and durability which equates to better abrasion and tear resistance compared to rubbers, while offering higher mechanical protection.
